Administration disallows Er. Rasheed’s rally in Rajouri

Jammu: Following denial by the district administration Er. Rasheed was compelled to cancel his public rally at Rajouri. Party Spokesman Sheeban Ashai in a statement said that party had applied for the permission well in time and had asked Er. Rasheed to visit the area revealing that permission is not the issue and necessary orders will be issued.

However when Er. Rasheed today visited Rajouri authorities denied to allow public gathering citing reason that no permission has been given by the concern authorities to hold the public gathering.

Spokesman said that following the denial by the authorities party was forced to cancel the programme. Condemning the act AIP has termed it murder of democracy and accused state administration of working for BJP and other parties.

Spokesman added that the shameful approach of authorities has exposed the neutrality of state administration and not only masses but people in entire world should know that there is a controlled and selective democracy in Jammu and Kashmir. Spokesman further said that Er. Rasheed was disallowed permission only for the reason that BJP and Congress do not want sincere voices to grow which would expose their favoritism, nepotism and communal agenda.

Spokesman added that it is the pro people agenda of Er. Rasheed that has made Sang Parivar and its controlled administration to feel scared of Er. Rasheed’s political activity and party has conveyed about the unpleasant and undemocratic developments to the election commissioner and sought stern action against District Administration Rajouri.

Later Er. Rasheed interacted with people at Shadra Sharief and other places. Accusing both congress and BJP of playing communal politics, AIP President Er. Rasheed asked voters of Jammu Ponch parliamentary constituency to reject all communal forces and vote AIP candidate Shahzad Shabnum Deewan for a better future and prosperous Jammu & Kashmir.

Er. Rasheed said “It is strange that both congress and BJP have preferred to give mandate to Non-Muslim candidates, obviously trying to cash votes of Hindu community. Let people understand the designs behind marginalizing the Muslim population in Jammu and taking them far-granted. Both the parties are playing communal politics only to grab votes and are not well-wishers of any community.

While BJP’s Anti-Muslim stand and communal agenda is known to all, congress has played vote bank politics by fielding Raman Bhala, believing Muslim community will vote for congress as it may become their compulsion to keep BJP away. Let people of both the communities take a united stand and vote for development, communal harmony and resolution to political issues, end to VIP culture, Good governance and an end to nepotism”.

Er. Rasheed thanked people for listening to his ideas despite he was not allowed to carry political activities in the Pir Panchal region during last ten years as all the political forces are truly scared of the fact that AIP has all the potential to provide an alternate political platform to the people of the state. Reiterating that resolution to Kashmir issue is a must for long term stability and prosperity of the people of the state Er. Rasheed accused Congress and BJP of having no concrete road map to resolve Kashmir dispute.

He said “Once the dispute is resolved people in border areas will feel comfortable and the state can get rid of uncertainty and animosity. It is disgusting that whosoever talks of resolution to J&K dispute is being labelled as a Pakistani agent. It needs to be made clear to all that J&K is a political issue and neither war nor any suppressive measures can resolve the issue.

Let the leadership of India and Pakistan understand the sufferings of Kashmiri people on both sides of LOC who face cross border shelling and are victims of animosity and hate-redness between India and Pakistan”. Er. Rasheed appealed to vote for change and vote in favour of Party nominee Shahzad Shubnum Deewan who has all the potential to represent the state in the entire parliament.
