RAMBAN: Additional Superintendent of Police, Ramban, Rajni Sharma has figured among J&K Police officers who have been awarded the President’s Police Medal for meritorious services.
On the eve of Independence Day, the Centre on Saturday released a list of police personnel who have been awarded with gallantry and distinguished services.
Rajni Sharma had joined the police force in 1995 as Sub-Inspector when militancy was at its peak.
In her 26 year police service across Jammu and Kashmir, she has rendered meritorious services in different capacities in SOG, Railway Police and JK Armed Force.
After getting elevated as Dy. SP in 2008, Rajni Sharma was also decorated with the DG Medal for her Meritorious Services in 2012. She was also awarded with the J & K Meritorious Services award in 2020 and Chief of Army Staff, Commendation Certificate.
The District and Police Administration Ramban has congratulated Rajni Sharma for this prestigious honour.
