KISHTWAR: Additional District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar Sham Lal, today discussed and reviewed the rural sector schemes and programmes with Block Development Council chairpersons here at a meeting also attended by Block Development officers.
ACD, Kishore Singh Katoch; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Zakir Hussain, were also present in the meeting.
The ADDC took block wise review of the achievements under central and UT schemes being executed by PRIs. He took stock of the physical and financial status of the MGNREGA,PMAY, SBM and 14 FC works in the RDD sector.
Regarding the finalisation of planning under 15th FC, ADDC Kishtwar exhorted upon all the BDC chairpersons to submit the plan within one week.
He directed all the BDOs, who act as secretary to Block Development Council, to convene the Block level review meeting at their respective Blocks on 15th-20th of every month which shall be accordingly followed by the District level Meeting on the 30th of every month.
He solicited all the BDCs to Co-operate with the BDOs in planning and implementation of Developmental schemes in a collective and responsible manner to ensure that the developmental aspirations of the people are fulfilled at grassroots level. He asked BDOs to complete the Individual Household Latrine (IHHL) verification and update the data on IMIS portal thereof, besides initiate the purchase process of solar lights under 14 th FC through GeM portal.
