SOPORE: Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested a 40-year-old man for raping a 12-year-old girl (name withheld) in Mahrajpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, reports said.
The accused was arrested after the family members of a minor girl approached the police and registered a complaint against the accused.
Police have registered a case FIR No. 107/2019 in PS-Sopore under section 363/376 RPC and investigation has been launched.
