17 students wounded in mysterious blast at Pulwama school

PULWAMA: At least seventeen students were wounded in a mysterious blast at a school in Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.

Reports said that a blast took place inside a private school in Narbal area of Kakapora where the students were getting winter tuitions around 2 pm.

Medical Officer, PHC Kakapora Dr Wahid told Greater Kashmir that fourteen students with splinter injuries were brought to the facility for treatment.

“Three among the injured were referred to Srinagar for specialised treatment,” he said, adding that the students had received injuries mostly in their limbs.

Three more injured were shifted to district hospital Pulwama for treatment.
