13 officers of departmental feeding service on stop-gap basis
JAMMU: Government on Thursday ordered placement of junior scale KAS officers and officers of different departmental feeding services in the time scale of Jammu and Kashmir administrative service on stop-gap basis in their own pay and grade.
According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), government order placement of 29 junior scale KAS officer and 13 officer of departmental feeding services on stop-gap basis.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the placement of the following Junior Scale KAS officers and officers of different departmental feeding services, in the Time Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, on stop-gap basis, in their own pay and grade,” reads the order, copy of which lies with KNO.
The order further states that these arrangements shall not confer any right on the incumbents to claim preferential treatment for their promotion, as and when the same is made in accordance with the provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service Rules, 2008;
“The placements shall be without prejudice to the outcome of Writ Petition(s), if any, pending consideration before the court(s) of competent jurisdiction,” reads the order.
