SRINAGAR: In order to connect with youth in Srinagar area, Police kick started a youth connection (You-Connect) Programme in City South area.
SDPO Sadder Shri Shabir Khan-JKPS while speaking to youth stressed on them to channelize their energy in positive direction. He said that the “time is high for youth to come out and explore the challenges of the society”. He stressed on various issues ranging from “Drug menace to Career Exploration which was welcomed by young energetic students, aspiring medicos and Engineers”.
Chairman Private coaching institutes Shri G N War welcomed the move of City Police and said requirement of time is to bridge the gap between Police and public with specific pointer towards youth who are in distress and this step of Police will go in a long way to improve the relation.
Latter in his message to youth, SDPO Sadder told them “I want you to meet in Class Rooms and not on Roads”.
