SRINAGAR: Mutahir Showkat is a well known photographer from Kashmir valley, was born on August 24, 1999, he is from Qazigund of district Anantnag and has unique skills of photography that delight the eyes of viewers.
Mutahir is a good author who is helping youth to learn photography through his books. Mutahir received his early education from Hanfia Public High School in Qazigund.
He completed his senior secondary education from GHS Kadipora Anantnag. He completed his diploma in civil engineering from GBP Jammu. Currently Mutahir is doing Bachelor’s in engineering from LDRP ITR Gandhinagar Gujarat
Mutahir started his photography career in 2013 and he was basically interested in traveling. He used to travel with his family and friends. He used to trek different high altitudes and found that nature has lot to offer. He loves to capture the mesmerizing views of nature, from high altitudes to low lying meadows.
The most fascinating thing about photography according to Mutahir is that it freezes memories. It captures a moment in time that you’ll be able to remember and cherish forever and ever. If you look at the images which people save, usually those are the photos of their family, friends, pets, places, and items they love. Mutahir has published two books on photography.
The first one is “Photography tips for beginners”. It is is a complete guide for those who are interested to do photography or want to make photography as their career. This book helps a person to understand the basics of light and how your eyes fix lighting. Apart from learning photography it guides a person how he can earn by doing Photography.
Another one is “Photography editing and editors”. As editing is the main thing after capturing a photograph, to make a picture more attractive editing is must so this book helps a person to learn how to edit the photos and It is a complete guide about different softwares used in photography editing. Mutahir is also a podcaster and he has done a podcast series named as yaadein with Mutahir Showkat. Mutahir is a nature lover, and traveler.
