Two-days training program for DRPs from Horticulture department concludes at JKEDI

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) in coordination with the Department of Horticulture, J&K under the Scheme Pradhan Mantri Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprise (PMFME-ODOP) organized a two day training cum orientation program for the District resource persons (DRPs) of the Horticulture Department representing the ten districts of the Kashmir Division.

The participants were apprised about formulating Detailed Project Reports, including sessions on Historical Financial inputs, revenue streams, preparation and presentation of financial statements, cash flow statements, preparation of profit loss statement, working capital estimates, financial projections, and many other related topics. 

The participants  also shared their experiences and highlighted various issues of their respective districts. They reiterated the need and importance of formulating a broad based DPR keeping in view the local business ecosystem.  

The programme started with a welcome address by Dr.Mehraj u Din Bhat, Incharge Trainings, JKEDI, followed by presentations of Shabir Majeed, Imtiyaz Ahad, Dr. Sameer Jan, and Irem Hussaini, Senior faculty members of the Institute. Raiyees Manzoor, Regional Coordinator, JKEDI coordinated the program.
