Tral shuts on maiden death anniversary of Hizb commander Sabzar Bhat, aide

TRAL: A complete shutdown is being observed in Tral sub-division of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district to mark the first death anniversary of Hizb ul-Mujahideen commander Sabzar Bhat and his associate Faizan Bhat.

All shops and other business establishments remained closed in the town while public transport is off the roads.

Sabzar Ahmad Bhat, alias Soub Don of Rathsuna hamlet of Tral was killed along with his associate, Faizan Bhat at Saimoh in a gunfight with government forces on May 27, 2017.

Minor stone-pelting protests were held in the town earlier in the day.
