Katra: Executive President of Jammu & Kashmir Bank R.K.Chibber While interacting with the representatives of Hotel & Restaurant Association,Katra including its President Rakesh Wazir , Chairman Shyam Lal Kesar,former President Shiv Kumar Sharma ,Vice Presidents Vivek Sharma,,etc.wherein Former MLA Baldev Raj Sharma,Former Muncipal Committee President Ashu magotra,Vice President & Zonal Head Udhampur Range J&K Bank Sudhir Gupta,Cluster Head Rajesh Dubey and Branch Heads of major branches of Udhampur Zone were also present said here today at Katra that Tourism is back bone of J&K economy and every help,effort and assistance would be provided toTourism and Hotel Industry in particular so that Tourist Sector gets maximum boost enabling maximum number of Tourists to visit our state resulting potential of Tourism utilization to its maximum overhere.
Mr.Chibber said Katra has got lowest number of non performing assets and entrepreneurs overhere are good pay masters and bank too will leave no stone un turned for having liberal financing overhere.
While speaking on the occasion Rakesh Wazir President of the association said that Hotel Industry at Katra and J&K Bank had a long bonding and most of the hotels at Katra are financed by the J&K Bank and thus the bank had got a major role in the progress of Hotel and allied Tourist related industries at Katra.He while appreciating and thanking the Chairman & CEO of the Bank Parvez Ahmed for accepting their major demands including collateral free financing to the hotels and delegation of powers to the Zonal and Cluster heads for financing and other matters by which the files are not going to Srinagar for approvals and time is not getting wasted and assured that in the days to come the bank will see the results of these decisions as well and will get major boost in its business particularly in the sector of finance.
He said that businesss at Katra is picking up very fast and the bank should go for massive financing and support to the entrepreneurs and more so because the financing in Hotel Industry is most secured and is the major job provider in comparison to any other industry in our state and liberal financing will boost it even further .
Mr.Wazir while elaborating the contribution of the bank being local said that in all the types of turmoils and eventualities it was only J&K Bank which came in open support of the J&K people and it becomes our duty as well to be the part of the bank in a big way.
Mr.Chibber listened the people present in the meeting patiently and assured that bank will leave no stone un turned for the help and assistance of the hotel industry and further said that modern innovative approach would be adopted as for as the finacing and providing other facilities to the enterprenueurs of the Katra and around and further assured for maximum utilization of the J&K Bank infrastructure for the welfare of the state and people connected with Tourism industry.
