KULGAM: In order to provide prosthetic aids, equipments and Artificial limbs to specially abled persons, the Social welfare Department Kulgam in collaboration with Alimco today organised a day long assessment camp for specially abled persons, here.
These prosthetic aids & Artificial limbs are being made available to the beneficiaries as per individual requirements and does away with the tradition practice of one size fits all.
Speaking on the occasion, Officers of Social Welfare Department Kulgam said that such programs will continue in the future also so that specially abled persons are provided requisite prosthetic aids and equipments that they require to lead a normal life.
The program is part of three day long assessment cum distribution camps of prosthetic aids among specially abled persons.
