Jammu: Er. Mir Irfan Ul Haq, Assistant Professor, School of Mechanical Engineering delivered a talk at Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers(STLE) Annual Meeting-2019 at Nashville, Tennessee, USA held during 19th May 2019 to 23rd May, 2019.
Er. Mir was awarded travel grant by DST-SERB under Young Scientist category to deliver the talk on a co-authored work entitled “Effect of MoS2 on the Tribological Performance of AA7075/Si3N4 Composite”.
The work was co-authored by Dr. Ankush Anand, Assoc. Professor, SME, SMVDU. The conference was organized by STLE and co-sponsored by American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
The week-long event was attended by various scientists and industry experts working in the field of tribology. Er. Mir Irfan got an opportunity to interact with various tribologists, material scientists and industrial experts from various countries during the event.
