WADOORA: Prof. Nazeer Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-K Sheikh Inaugurated Hamza(RA) Kisan Ghar at Faculty of Agriculture, Wadura Sopore in presence of the Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Registrar and Senior Officers of the University.
The three storeys Kisan Ghar is having 21 Bed Rooms, Dining Hall, Kitchen and a Lobby and built at an estimated cost of 170 lacs by the Estates Division of the University.
This facility was a long pending requirement for lodging trainee farmers , extension personnel and scientists who are visiting the Faculty of Agriculture during variious extension and training programmes being organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, Wadura. Vice-Chancellor congratulated Estates Officials and the Dean, Faculty of Agriculture for their timely efforts in completing the project.
