SRINAGAR: President Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) Dr Shah Faesal have greeted people of Jammu and Kashmir especially Sikh brethern on the occasion of Baisakhi.
In his greeting message, Shah Faesal has said that Baisakhi symbolises age-old communal harmony and brotherhood which is the hallmark of the rich and composite ethos of the state.
He said the celebration of Baisakhi strengthen the bonds of love, harmony and brotherhood among people.
Dr Faesal has prayed for peace and prosperity of the state on this occasion and hoped that the auspicious occasion would usher in peace and prosperity in the state.
He said that Basikhi holds an important significance for the people of the North, as it marks the beginning of the harvest.
