Cleanliness, Service Delivery remained key highlights of campaign

ANANTNAG: The fortnight long Sewa Parv-2025 Campaign concluded with celebration of Gandhi Jayanti at Government Degree College (Women) Anantnag, where Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, SF Hamid paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and also administered Gandhi pledge to the participants. The ceremony was organised by District Administration and witnessed participation of sectoral & district heads, college faculty, officials from various departments, among others.

DC in his address recognized the vital role played by senior officers, schools and colleges, field functionaries, voluntary organisations and  general public in making the campaign a success adding that cleanliness & service delivery have been the key highlights which witnessed remarkable achievements across the district.

He impressed upon the government functionaries to be the agents of change on cleanliness and hygiene fronts and become inspiration for the general public.

During the campaign more than 2100 Cleanliness Drives were held by different departments, 1252 Mutations attested, 5240 Certificates in different categories and 1224 revenue extracts issued by the Revenue Department besides 95 percent grievances were disposed of.

On the health and nutrition side, 13288 health check ups, 17392 nutrition sessions and 18408 Poshan Maah events were conducted by Health, Ayush & ICDS Departments.
