SRINAGAR: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai while paying Heartfelt tributes to Shopian Martys Lateef Ahmed, Tariq Ahmed and Shariq Ahmed, said the pain of losing loved ones can well be felt by the Kashmiris who see the dance of death and who shoulder the coffins of their loved ones almost every day for the political and basic rights.

Sehrai extended his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families added that lingering Kashmir issue is where it has always been – unresolved and causing great harm, suffering and cost to all. Today, all of us continue to be held hostage to Indian arrogance and aggression.

Sehrai said the precious Human blood is being spilt in Kashmir every day. Every day people are getting killed and becoming the target of the unresolved Kashmir conflict, which is extremely painful.

He said the Kashmir conflict, one of the longest standing disputes in the world, is continuously leaving behind tragic stories, wails and screams and thousands of untold stories.

Unfortunately, The international community is also turning deaf ears towards the Kashmir issue which otherwise can raise questions on the brazen human rights violations in Kashmir he said.

He said Kashmiri people had always sought a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute as per the wishes of people of Kashmir, but India was adamant that it would settle the issue through military might by suppressing the voice of Kashmiri people for their internationally recognized and legitimate rights.

We want an end to the ongoing bloodshed and do not want to see our children die in a bloody conflict. We want this dispute to be resolved peacefully because we are losing the 4th generation to this political issue.
