JAMMU: The newly appointed Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), J&K, Sarvesh Rai, today called on the Minister for Forests, Ecology & Environment, Javed Ahmed Rana, in his office chamber.
Rai has taken over as Head of Forest Force following the superannuation of Suresh Gupta. In his new assignment, he will oversee the forest administration, conservation initiatives, and wildlife management across the Union Territory.
The Minister extended his best wishes to the HoFF and expressed confidence that his experience and leadership would further strengthen the department’s efforts towards environmental conservation and ecological balance in Jammu and Kashmir.
