J&K Resident Commission organizes Swachhta Pledge ceremony, cleanliness drive

NEW DELHI: As part of Gandhi Jayanti celebration across the nation, a Swachhta Pledge taking ceremony was organized in the office of J&K Resident Commission, New Delhi.

All the officers and other staff members of the Commission took the pledge to remain committed towards cleanliness and devote their time for this noble mission. Further, it was also pledged  ‘’that it is our duty to serve Mother India by keeping our country neat and clean’’ and we will propagate the message of Swachh Bharat Mission in villages and towns”.

Additional Resident Commissioner, Niraj  Kumar, paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and highlighted his contribution towards welfare of oppressed sections of the society which would continue to inspire the generations to come.

Later, the officers and the staff members participated in a cleanliness drive conducted within and outside the premises of J&K House, New Delhi.
