DC Bandipora distributes TT Tables among ZPEOs
BANDIPORA: The refresher training course for physical education teachers of District Bandipora concluded here, on Sunday.
District Development Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad was the chief guest at the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Bandipora highlighted the importance of sports and urged the Physical Education teachers to work with full dedication in their respective schools and involve students in extracurricular activities for overall development of children.
Meanwhile, he appreciated District Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) for conducting refreshers courses for the teachers that will help in capacity building of the human resource.
He also distributed Table Tennis Tables among Zonal Physical Education Officers of the District for their respective Schools. Refresher Course Certificates were also distributed among all trainees and RPs.
Earlier, DYSSO, Bandipora, Gh Qadir Bhat welcomed the chief guest and briefed him about the activities taken up by the department during the current year.
The colourful programmes including art Demo, short skit and mass PET exercise were displayed. A separate song with dance by the trainees of zone Gurez enthralled the audience.
Later, Peerzada Khursheed Shaheen incharge activities presented a vote of thanks .
