SRINAGAR: Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti jointly addressed 6000 youth and sportspersons at Indoor Sports Stadium Srinagar today.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh while being thankful to the youth of state for being positive in terms of development and prosperity lauded the leadership of Secretary JKSSC Waheed Ur Rehman Parra for taking the initiative of channelizing the energy of youth of state in a positive direction.
He also mentioned that it was his first experience of this sort in Jammu and Kashmir wherein he addressed young audience including sportspersons.
Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti appreciated the role of Sports Council and termed the youngsters and sportspersons present on the occasion as future of the state.
Meanwhile eight prominent sports persons were also felicitated by Singh and Mehbooba.
