SRINAGAR: The weatherman on Thursday predicted light rains and snow from November 12-15 in Kashmir valley.
Sonam Lotus, who heads the meteorological department in Jammu and Kashmir, said hilly areas are likely to receive moderate snow while light rains and snow could lash plains from November 12-14.
“The inclement weather could continue till November 15,” he said, adding that it could affect traffic movement on Srinagar-Jammu highway.
Kashmir valley received heavy snowfall on November 3, disrupting air and surface transport besides damaging power transmission towers and causing heavy loss to orchards.
