PULWAMA: One more militant has been killed in the gunfight with government forces in Panzgam area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday taking the toll to 2.
Police sources said that two militants have been killed in a gunfight so far while the search operation is going on.
They said that the identification of the slain militants is being ascertained.
The gunfight started early morning after a joint team forces launched cordon and search operation in Pazgam area on specific information about the presence of some militants.
As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon government forces triggering an encounter in which two militants were killed so far.
Meanwhile, internet service was suspended in Awantipora sub division of south Kashmir.
