BUDGAM: Police in Budgam have arrested a Brick kiln owner namely Mohammed Yousuf Mir son of Mohammad Akbar Mir resident of Chattergam who’s brick Kiln is located at Magraypora Chadoora for negligence and non-compliance of administrative orders thereby endangering life and safety of labourers.
Accordingly, a case FIR number 102/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered against him at Police Station Chadoora and investigation taken.
Pertinent to mention that on 02/06/2022, terrorists fired upon labourers in the said Brick Klin resulting in death of one of the labourer namely Dilkhush Kumar son of Narayan Rishidev resident of Gaon Ladugarh, Purina and injuries to other.
All the Brick kiln owners and managers are once again advised to strictly follow the guidelines issued by administration to ensure safety of the labourers working in their respective units. In-case of non-compliance or any negligence strict action is warranted under law.
