PULWAMA: Militants on Monday attacked a police post at Saidpora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Confirming the incident, SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Choudhary told GNS that a group of militants attacked the post.
The timely retaliatory action by the policemen foiled the rifle snatching bid, SSP said.
No one suffered injuries in the exchange of fire on either side, said, Choudhary.
He further said that a case has been registered and further investigation was taken up.
