Mehbooba bats for dialogue with Pakistan to end bloodshed in Kashmir

ANANTNAG: People’s Democratic President and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday batted for dialogue with Pakistan to end bloodshed in Kashmir.

As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), she visited Logripora , Aishmuqam Anantnag to express sympathies with the bereaved family of constable suhail ahmad who was killed in a militant attack in Baghaat area of Srinagar on Friday.

While talking with reporters on the sidelines of condolence meet, Mehbooba said that there is need to start dialogue with Pakistan, a country that according to New Delhi spreading violence in Kashmir,  so that bloodshed ends.

Government of India must think how long people of Jammu and Kashmir have to suffer and see violence every day, she said, adding that our youth everyday whether policemen and others are becoming victims of violence.

She said that people of J&K want peace here and BJP lead government at the centre must think about the situation of J&K and start dialogue with each stakeholder to bring peace here.

While talking about Suhail, who was killed in militant attack in Baghat Srinagar, she said that his father was also killed when he was just four year old and what they will do now.

If Pakistan is spreading violence in Kashmir, then Govt of India must at least start dialogue with Pakistan to end violence in Kashmir as the graveyards of Kashmir are full now, she said.

Pertinently, two policemen were killed in militant attack in Baghat Srinagar on Friday afternoon.
