Meeting regarding developmental deliverables for FY 2022-23 held at Anantnag

ANANTNAG: A meeting of all district/ sectoral officers was held on Thursday regarding progress on developmental deliverables.

The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Wani chaired the meeting and briefed the officials about various aspects of service delivery.

Deliberating with the officials, ADDC said that work on developmental deliverables has already started in various departments. He said that the officers must brief their subordinates on the expectation and ensure that commensurate efforts are made towards achieving the targets.

He reiterated that the developmental deliverables for the financial year 2022-23 are aimed at ensuring holistic and equitable development; whereby functions of all departments have been quantified to set time-bound targets to be achieved through the convergence of associated departments. The deliverables focus on people-friendly outcomes.

The ADDC said that most of the deliverables pertain to implementation of various Govt schemes and are aimed at ensuring efficient service delivery. He emphasized that saturation of public welfare measures is a priority of the Govt and gaps in this regard must be immediately filled so that people can benefit from Govt schemes. He stressed on planning, allocation of responsibilities and regular reviews to ensure target achievement.

The departments put forth their action plans for achieving the targets as per stipulated timelines. The officers assured that progress is being regularly reviewed.

The meeting was attended by ADC, SEs of PWD, Hydraulics, KPDCL, CPO, ACP, ACD, Ex. Engineers of various departments, CAHO, CAO, SDM Pahalgam, SDM Kokernag, DSEO, AD Labour, AD Food and BDOs among others.
