Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor J&K Manoj Sinha on Thursday condemned the killing of the female principal and male teacher and said that a befitting reply would be given to the perpetrators of heinous attacks on innocent people.
LG Sinha said it after a teacher and principal were killed by militants this morning in Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Eidgah Sangam, Srinagar.
He said in a tweet that “I strongly condemn the barbaric killing of two of our teachers, Supinder Kour and Deepak Chand by militants.”
LG added that “A befitting reply will be given to the perpetrators of the heinous terror attacks on innocent people.”
He further said that the militants & their patrons will not succeed in disturbing peace, progress & prosperity of J&K UT.
“My deepest condolences to the bereaved family, friends and colleagues,” said LG Sinha.
