BUDGAM: The District Legal Services Authority Budgam today conducted a Legal awareness programme under NALSA-National Commission for Women collaborative project on “Empowerment of Women through Legal Awareness” at Town Hall Budgam.
The programme was attended by Secretary District Legal Services Authority Budgam, Fozia Paul, Adv. Feroz Ahmad Khan, Saima Shah (Social Worker NCW Distt. Budgam), Neelofar (Social Worker NCW Distt. Budgam).
Speaking on the occasion Paul said that DLSA Budgam is always available for the Women in distress and the Authority is working for the welfare of the Women in distress.
She said DLSA Budgam is providing Legal Aid to many Women on daily basis and also apprised the gathering about basic rights of women and schemes available for them in legal institutions as well as in other line departments.
