SRINAGAR: The Enforcement Wing of Lake Conservation & Management Authority today conducted a demolition drive in the areas of Doud Mohalla, Ishber Upper Side, Hakim Mohalla Lal Bazar and Nigeen.
During the drive, 02 plinths one single storey, two second stories, one third storey and one compound walling raised illegally were demolished on the spot.
Meanwhile, all the public residing within the LDA jurisdiction and in lake are hereby once again directed not to go for any sort of illegal constructions/ encroachments, as the Enforcement wing will continue with demolition of illegal constructions/ removal of encroachments.
Moreover, the Tipper/ Load carried owners are directed not to carry/ferry any construction material in the prohibited area of Dal/ Nigeen Lake without getting proper permission and in case anybody found shall be dealt as per law. Also CCTV Cameras have been installed and barricades have been erected in order to curb the transportation of illegal building material.
Also, the locals residing in the area of LCMA Jurisdiction are informed to apply for online building permission through LCMA online official portal/website.
