Prof Geer Mohammad Ishaq, Director CCPC while welcoming the guest highlighted the main objectives of the session.

“Students need to identify attainable goals and objectives in their life and career and need to devise suitable strategies for achievement of the same” he said.

He said goals are like milestones and serve as a roadmap for progression in one’s life and career, and therefore civil service aspirants in particular must have a clear strategy for accomplishment of their goals.

“This is our second such session in this month to expose students to promising careers in various fields and inspire them to excel in life. More such interactions with accomplished and acclaimed leaders in diverse fields will be organised in future,” Prof Geer said.

In his interaction, Rizwan-ud-Din talked in detail about goal setting process and its various stages that include choosing area/field for the career, setting goal, internalising, planning, practice on timeline, review at different milestones and enhancing efforts.
