SRINAGAR: In the recently concluded Ist Khelo India Winter Games held at Gulmarg, Kashmir skiers from University of Kashmir achieved remarkable feat by bagging medals in different skiing events.
In Alpine gaint slalom and slalom (senior women category) Saba Bashir bagged silver medals in both categories while as Fayaz Hajam finished 8th in slalom Alpine seniors men category.
Vice Chancellor KU Prof. Talat Ahmad and Registrar Dr Nisar Ahmad Mir have congratulated the athletes for their remarkable achievement and lauded the efforts of the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports KU. They further emphasized on more participation in the events of national importance.
