JRL calls Kashmir shutdown tomorrow against 17 killings in past three days

SRINAGAR: Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called for a shutdown tomorrow in Kashmir against the killings of seventeen persons in past three days.

In a statement, JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik called for complete shutdown on 26th November Monday to “strongly protest and denounce the killing of 17 Kashmiris by Indian forces’ brutal action in the last 3 days.”

The call was issued today following the killings of six militants and a civilian in a gunfight and clashes in south Kashmir’s Shopian today morning.
