BARAMULLA: Jammu and Kashmir Handicapped Association today organised a distribution camp at Govt. Degree College Baramulla.
The camp was chaired by Head of the Department (HoD) Botony of the college Prof. A.M.Chalkoo while as among others, District Social Welfare Officer, coordinator of the Association, Human Aid Chairperson Baramulla, President JKHA besides other people were present on the occasion.
It was given out that the Association is working for women’s empowerment and for the upliftment of disabled, orphans, below poverty line persons of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
During the camp, as many as 12 Sewing Machines besides food kits were distributed among the trained workers of Sopore and Baramulla areas who had received training in cutting and tailoring at the respective training centres being run by the said organisation.
