JKEDI Kargil Organized Program under Start-Up India 200 Candidates Registered

KARGIL: 200 candidates registered themselves with start-up India in Kargil during a one day program organized by Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) Kargil in collaboration with start-up India at degree college Kargil.

In line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Start-up India vision, Start-up Jammu and Kashmir Yatra is being organized by Start-up India in collaboration with Start-up Jammu and Kashmir. The yatra will be targeting grass root entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and start-ups with the aim of achieving the following objectives like   Start-up Awareness,    Incubation Offers and Other Incentives from the resource partners of Start-up India such as legal consultation, advisory services, mentorship etc.

During the Program, 8 ideas were pitched up from the candidates out of which four ideas were selected for the grand finale at Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI Pampore Srinagar.

Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) is a premier Institute of Entrepreneurship Development in the State with the mandate of fostering entrepreneurial culture.  Besides, the Institute has also been designated as the Nodal Agency for Start-up India programs in the State.

The Principal degree college was the Chief Guest and Aakasshan Sethi Team Manager from start up India detailed about the start up yatra’s program and its benefits.

On the occasion District Nodal Officer JKEDI Kargil Gulzar Ali briefed the participants about the various schemes of JKEDI.
