JK reports 315 fresh positive cases

SRINAGAR: The Government today informed that 315 fresh  positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19)have been reported today; 41 from Jammu division and 274 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 475424.

Moreover, 480 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 70 from Jammu division and 410from Kashmir division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 475424 positive cases, 3162 are Active Positive (483 in Jammu Division and 2679 in Kashmir Division), 467483have recovered and 4779 have died; 2347 in Jammu division and 2432 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin also informs that 17,287 doses of COVID Vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours across Jammu and Kashmir bringing the cumulative number of doses administered to 2,40,42,435 till date.

The Bulletin further said that out of 26347378 test results available, 475424 samples have tested positive and 25871954 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 11,196 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.

Till date 6699563 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 149 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 3162in isolation and 352in home surveillance. Besides, 6691121 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 103 cases, Baramulla reported 55 cases, Budgam 28 cases, Pulwama reported 14 cases, Kupwara reported 17 cases, Anantnag reported13 cases, Bandipora reported 07 cases, Ganderbal reported 07 cases, Kulgam reported 28 case while as Shopian reported 02 fresh cases for today.

Similarly in Jammu division, Jammu reported 27 cases, Udhampur 00, Rajouri 01, Doda 03, Kathua 02, Samba 00, Kishtwar 00, Poonch 04, Ramban 04 while as Reasi reported no fresh case for today.

The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.

It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
