JAMMU: A Jammu Development Authority (JDA) team today sealed a godown constructed in violation of the provisions as laid down under BOCA act and JMP-2032
As per JDA handout, on the directions of vice chairman, a team of officers/officials headed by chief enforcement officer along with concerned Naib Tehsildar, Khilafwarzi Inspector, Patwari and other supporting staff sealed the godown under section 8(1) of control of building operation Act 1988.
The godown was constructed in violation of the provisions as laid down under BOCA act and JMP-2032 in Kh No 265 at Narwal Bala.
Sealing was done after giving due opportunity of being heard in notices issued under section 7(1) and 12 (1) of COBO Act 1988.
