UDHAMPUR: District administration Udhampur is going to hold a Placement drive on January 12 through the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) to provide the employment opportunity to the ITI trained unemployed youth of the district.
The preparedness for the drive was today reviewed by Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar here at a meeting of officers of different departments.
The ADDC asked the concerned departments to set up their departmental stalls and aware the youth about various employment schemes besides imparting counseling to them about various employment avenues.
Superintendent ITI, Ajay Kumar said that the unemployed ITI trained youths of the district Udhampur can participate in the job fair along with their documents. He appealed to all the unemployed youths of Udhampur district to come forward and avail maximum benefits by participating in the Mega placement drive.
Among others present in the meeting were PO ICDS, Attar Chand, District Social Welfare Officer, Er. Sajad Bashir Somberia, Chief Agriculture Officer, Subash Sharma, Chief Education Officer, Parshotam Dutt Sharma and others officers of various departments.
