SRINAGAR: Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Friday termed the mass shootings at two New Zealand mosques as a terror attack and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.

“Good to see most people are calling the #NewZealandMosqueFiring what it is – a terror attack. #NewZealandTerroristAttack. No words of condemnation are strong enough & no words of sympathy for the families adequate enough. May Allah grant them Jannat,” Omar wrote on twitter.
