Iran threatens to kill Netanyahu ‘with full force’ as Trump rejects offer to end conflict

DUBAI: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Sunday issued a direct threat to kill Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, sharply escalating rhetoric as fighting between Iran, Israel and the United States continued to intensify across West Asia.

In a statement carried by Iranian state media, the IRGC said if Netanyahu was still alive, its forces would “pursue and kill him with full force”, amid speculation circulating online about the Israeli leader’s whereabouts following recent missile strikes and heightened security measures.

The threat came as Israel continued strikes on Iranian targets and Tehran vowed further retaliation against Israeli and US interests in the region.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu on Sunday mocked at the news about his death as he released a video showing him ordering a coffee at what seems to be a roadside mini market.

US President Trump said he was not ready to make a deal to end the war with Iran, despite indications that Tehran may be seeking negotiations. He said the terms offered by Iran were “not good enough yet”.

Gulf states also reported intercepting fresh Iranian missiles and drones while Israel intensified air strikes inside Iran, according to regional reports.
