Chrar-i-Sharief: Alamdar Memorial College of Nursing and Medical Technology, Charar-i-Sharief, a constituent college of IUST Awantipora celebrated International Nurses day 2019 with the theme “Nurses: A voice to lead – Health for All” on 13th May 2019.
A simple but impressive event was held at Alamdar Memorial College Nursing and Medical Technology, Charar-i-Sharief. Students of B.Sc. Nursing 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year actively participated in the event and seminar on the theme was held.
I/C Principal AMCN&MT Charar-i-Sharief, Mrs Hassina Wani addressed the gathering and threw light on the importance of the day. The lamp lighting ceremony was held as a tribute to Florence Nightingale.
Principal along with the teaching faculty lit the lamp and students’ paid tribute to Florence Nightingale. The students who participated in the seminar were judged by the college faculty and later the mementoes and participation certificates were given away to the winners and participants.
