DODA: The 10th day of the ongoing Inter-Zonal District Level Tournament, organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports (DYSS), Doda unfolded with high-octane sporting action as under-19 girls competed in Kho-Kho and Volleyball.
In the Volleyball final, Zone Bhaderwah delivered an impressive performance, defeating Zone Bhallessa in straight sets with a scoreline of 2–0. Meanwhile, in the Kho-Kho arena, Bhaderwah once again emerged victorious, outplaying Zone Bhagwah with a margin of 5 points, showcasing their strength and coordination on the field.
The day’s events were graced by District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO) Jaffar Haider Sheikh who interacted with the young athletes and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence. He emphasized the values of sportsmanship, discipline, integrity and community spirit, urging participants to embody these principles both on and off the field.
To recognize the outstanding performances, medals, trophies and certificates were awarded to the winners and runner-ups, acknowledging their dedication, hard work and sporting excellence.
