KISHTWAR: Inter School Zone Level Rope Skipping competition for all age groups of boys and girls was today held here in the education zones of Kishtwar, Nagseni, Drabshalla & Padder.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kharati Lal Sharma, the chief guest along with Incharge ZPEO Zone Nagseni Suresh Parihar inaugurated the function.
While addressing the participants, the Chief guest focused on the benefits of sports and motivated the youth to take part in sports and games to improve their sense of responsibility, the ability to express themselves, their self-confidence and to avoid bad habits like drugs, smoking etc.
The competition was held under the supervision of Incharge ZPEOs & event convenors Kalash Kumar, Ram Loki, Bharti Sharavat, Vijay Kumar, Shampa Devi at their respective Zones.
