SRINAGAR: National Conference (NC) President and former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah has accused government of failing to address the encroachment of Indian territory by China.

Speaking in Parliament, Abdullah lamented the lack of action from the government despite multiple meetings between India and China. He highlighted the alarming escalation of Chinese advancements into Indian territory, stating that the situation has only worsened with time.

“China has encroached thousands of kilometers of our territory. We took up this matter in the Parliament but no body dared to respond. So far 18 to 19 meetings have taken place between India and China, but of no avail. They are stepping ahead more and more,” he added.
