Evades Arrest Since 2018, CBK Apprehends Man Involved in Preparing Fake Marks Certificates

Srinagar: Crime Branch Kashmir on Tuesday said that they have arrested a person involved in preparing fake Marks Certificates of Higher Secondary Part 2nd and was evading arrest since 2018, as per officials. 

The official said in a statement that the Crime Branch Kashmir has arrested one person namely Aejaz Ahmad Malik, a resident of Vilgam Handwara of Kupwara district, who was  involved in case FIR No: 34/2007 U/S 420,468,471,120-B RPC for preparing fake Marks Certificates of Higher secondary Part 2nd in order to get admission in different colleges of valley.  

It was further said that the investigation of the case was closed as PROVED against the said accused Aejaz Ahmad Malik and five other accused persons. “The Charge-Sheet in the instant case was filed before the Hon’ble Court of Law on December 28, 2010, however the accused Aejaz Ahmad Malik was absconding and evading arrest since the year 2018,” said CBK in the statement.

CBK also said that the warrant U/S 512 was issued by Hon’ble Court of City judge Srinagar, and accordingly the warrant was executed by them. The accused stands arrested in the instant case, said CBK.
