Inaugurates Innovative Learning Hub “Rang-e-pare”
BUDGAM: A Mega Enrolment Drive was today successfully organised at BHSS Suresyar, Budgam, presided over by the Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Naseer Ahmad Wani.
The event witnessed an impressive turnout of parents and community members, reflecting the growing public confidence in the government school system.
On the occasion, the Director participated in the ‘Nasha Mukht’ Pledge, reiterating the department’s commitment to fostering a drug-free student community across Kashmir.
During the programme, the Director School Education Kashmir granted 85 on-spot admissions, further strengthening the ongoing enrolment campaign across the valley. Parents expressed great satisfaction with the transparent process and welcomed the department’s efforts to expand access to quality education.
A significant feature of the event was the formal inauguration of “Rang-e-pare”, an innovative, child-centric learning space conceptualized to promote creativity, experiential learning, and joyful pedagogy. The initiative is in alignment with NEP-2020 and aims to reshape classroom learning environments into more engaging and activity-based models.
The event also showcased a series of thematic exhibition stalls set up by several schools from Cluster Suresyar, Chadoora, representing diverse domains such as foundational literacy and numeracy, vocational skills, reading promotion, and cultural heritage.
The programme recorded 100% parental participation, with parents actively engaging with teachers and appreciating the efforts of the school and cluster administration.
Director School Education Kashmir, commended the BHSS Suresyar, ZEO Chadura, staff, students, and community for organising an impressive and meaningful event. He noted that the Mega Enrolment Drive at Suresyar stands as “a remarkable demonstration of collective commitment, academic excellence, and community partnership.” He added that the inauguration of “Rang-e-pare”, the creative exhibits, and the on-spot admissions mark the occasion as an important milestone in the department’s ongoing efforts.
The Joint Director School Education Kashmir, Muhammad Mushtaq also addressed the gathering and highlighted key departmental initiatives aimed at improving learning outcomes, strengthening school infrastructure, and fostering student-friendly environments.
The Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring equitable access to education and urged all stakeholders to continue supporting the enrolment campaign to achieve maximum coverage across all districts.
