REASI: As per the Action Plan/Calendar for the month of July, 2021, issued by the J&K Legal Services Authority, District Legal Services Authority, Reasi organised organized an Online Slogan writing and Painting competition program on “World Population Day- 2021.
The awareness event on the importance of Family Planning was held under the guidance and supervision of R.N.Wattal, DLSA Chairman.
The students of different standards of Government High Schools of Kotla and Theot zealously participated and displayed their talent through Online Jitsi Meet.
After assessing the performance of all the participants, Saksham Kumar of 9th Standard of Government High School, Theot bagged 1st prize; Rohit Singh (10th Standard) got 2nd prize and Sanjeev Singh (9th Standard) of Govt. High School, Theot and Divyansh Sharma (9th Standard) of Govt. High School Kotla shared the 3rd prize.
The rest of the students were awarded appreciation certificates by the District Legal Services Authority, Reasi.
During the program Anis Ahmed and Vishav Singh from G.H.S, Kotla also expressed their thoughts on this day.
Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Reasi conducted the proceedings of this program and also conveyed Vote of thanks to the participants. Beside this, all the PLVs of District Reasi also conducted door to door awareness program and made the common masses aware about the importance of this day.
