Directs district admin to ensure timely redress of public issues
DODA: Divisional Commissioner met scores of deputations here at Dak bungalow Doda and gave a patient hearing to the grievances highlighted by them, here during his 2 day visit to this mountainous district.
The deputations were led by District Developmental Council Chairperson & Vice Chairperson, BDC Chairpersons, DDC Members, Sarpanches, Representatives of ULBs, Chenab Rescuers, and Contractors Association.
The major demands highlighted included measures for traffic decongestion, multi-storey parking at Bus stand Doda, staff placement and vehicles for DDC Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and members, removal of illegal encroachment from sports stadium Doda , transfer of overstayed employees in RDD, restoration of defunct hand pumps, purchase of computers and furniture for BDC offices, vehicles for BDCs, making Paryote fruit mandi functional, repair of Bharat Road, sanctioning of JK bank branch at Dali Udhyanpur, filling of vacant post of Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars, shortage of Doctors in PHCs and sub centres, rationalisation of teachers, up-gradation of High School Hanch to Hr Sec, allopathic dispensary for Rotipadrana, equipments and safety gadgets for Chenab Rescuers, revalidation of funds of contractors which were not drawn from treasury on 31st March due to technical issues etc.
The Div Com gave patient hearing and ensured them that their genuine issues shall be addressed on priority. He directed the concerned local administration to come up with viable proposals for early redress of the projected issues.
