UDHAMPUR: District Institute of Education and Training today organised an awareness programme on cyber security and safety. Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai inaugurated the event as the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering of teachers and officials.
The programme aimed to sensitise participants about the growing importance of digital safety, responsible online behaviour and protection against emerging cyber threats.
The DC underscored the critical need for adopting safe digital practices and maintaining cyber hygiene. She highlighted the rising risks associated with cybercrime and urged all officials to stay vigilant, follow secure online protocols and promote awareness among students and the wider community. She further stressed the importance of conducting regular cyber security awareness initiatives to ensure safer and more responsible digital future for citizens.
Earlier, the Principal of DIET extended a warm welcome to the chief guest and conveyed heartfelt greetings to all participants and guests present at the event.
