GANDERBAL: District Information Centre (DIC) Ganderbal in collaboration with Health Department Ganderbal today carried daylong awareness on COVID-19 appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and SOPs through a publicity van in various areas of the district.
The mobile publicity van left from the Mini Secretariat Complex Ganderbal along with officials of DIC Ganderbal and moved across the various areas of the district making announcements encouraging people to get 2nd dose of vaccination on time and follow the COVID-19 appropriate Behaviour in order to combat the resurgence of Covid Infection in the district.
On the occasion, District Information Officer Ganderbal interacted with the people/shopkeepers and requested them to avoid unnecessary visit to markets and other congested places as Covid infection is not over yet. He also urged them to follow basic protocols like wearing face masks, washing hands and maintaining social distance while visiting to markets and other busy places where chances of infection are high.
The officials of DIC Ganderbal also distributed the masks among the people and urged them to follow Covid-19 protocols in letter and spirit which are only effective tools to combat the resurgence of Covid infection in the district.
